What Actually Goes Into a Personalized Mystery Box

Hi, we're Caitlyn and Tyler. We run C&T Mystery Zone, our small family shop in Northern Michigan, and we hand-pack every mystery box ourselves, right from our home.

So what actually goes into one?

It starts with you. When you order, you tell us the age range — child, teen, or adult — your favorite colors, and your likes and dislikes. That's the whole personalization process. There's no menu of themes to pick from, because the box is built around the person, not a category.

Then we get to work. Every box is built on ticket pulls — a minimum number of surprises, depending on the Zone you choose. The Mini Zone has 12+ pulls ($22.99), and it goes up from there to the Jackpot Zone with 32+ pulls ($119.99). Each pull is one surprise, picked from what you told us.

What's inside depends on the person. It could be plushies, fidgets, journals, stickers, pens and pencils, bags and wallets, beauty care, socks, tumblers, blankets, and more. No two boxes are ever the same, because no two people are.

And we always add a little extra, too — we love to spoil our customers. Every box gets a little something beyond the pulls, just because.

Most orders ship the next business day. Processing takes 1–2 business days, then tracked delivery takes about 3–7 business days — about 4–9 business days total from order to doorstep.

Who are they for? Birthdays, thank-yous, just-because surprises — and especially the hard-to-shop-for people on your list. If you've ever stood in a store thinking "I have no idea what to get them," that's exactly who we pack for. Kids, teens, adults — all ages.
